Shared Experience Relieves Worries for Horse Owner
Growing up, my family trained and showed Saddlebred horses. My husband and I started raising, training and showing Belgians. After my husband passed away, I kept the Belgians we had and got two yearling Gypsy Vanners and am training them now. They are so much fun! However, the breed shows for them are far from my home. I travel anywhere between 5 to 11 hours to the Gypsy Vanner shows, so hydration is a major concern. I own a stable – Trade-Win IV Farm – and have between 18-20 horses boarding and in training with us at a time, and the trainer does hunter/jumpers. After witnessing how well my personal horses have stayed hydrated with Gallagher’s Water, she has also purchased your product. I am not a fancy person – I do it all from cleaning stalls, training, grooming, bush hogging, fence repairs, loading feed/hay, grooming the arena, feeding, etc. I truly am a believer in your product – it does exactly what you advertise – encourages horses to drink water and that is vital, whether your horse is traveling or at home. When at home, I struggle to keep all the horses drinking when we have such hot and humid days and when there are quick weather fluctuations or cold snaps. Now that I have Gallagher’s Water on hand, I am ready and using it.
I am a believer. So often you see an ad for a product and wonder if it works. I had seen information about Gallagher’s Water and wondered if it worked. An emergency situation made me a quick believer in your hydration beverage. My horses are generally good drinkers at home, on the road and at shows. I travel with a water tank carrying water they are familiar with and provide electrolytes. In April, we were at a horse show in Doswell, Virginia (about six hours from home) when one of my horses started showing signs of dehydration. Over the next hour his situation did not improve regardless of what I tried. The young girl helping me at the show headed to the office to get the number of an emergency vet and came back with two packets of Gallagher’s Water that were given to her by an exhibitor stabled a few rows over who overheard the problem. Immediately, he started drinking. It was unbelievable how quickly his comfort level, his disposition, and my anxiety improved. We finished the show and headed home the next day. I ordered Gallagher’s Water and am now a believer in your product. In my stalls I hang two buckets of water and initially was concerned that the horses might only want the bucket with Gallagher’s Water in it. What I have found is that Gallagher’s Water in one bucket actually encourages them to also drink from the bucket with only water in it. Eastern North Carolina is a brutally hot and humid place in the summer, but I am prepared now – thanks to Gallagher’s Water.
I would be glad to spread the word about Gallagher’s Water so others know it works and can use it to help their horses.
Thank you again!
