Lauren Knopp is a 30-year-old professional dressage rider and is based at her family’s boarding facility, IDA Farm, in the heart of Wellington.
Lauren has had many successes and wins. In 2009 she was National Junior Reserve Champion at Gladstone and also Team and Individual Silver Medalist at NAJYRC with her horse "Rho Dance." In 2011, she received her USDF Silver Medal and in 2013, received her USDF Gold Medal. After taking a few years off to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology and minor in communications, she purchased her Young Rider/Brentina Cup mount, "Rantaro". "Rantaro" and Lauren placed third in the Brentina Cup division in 2013.
She has a string of horses, including her powerhouse 12-year-old Hanoverian mare Dakota (Dancier x Silvio I) “Coco,” 5-year-old PRE Fabriccio CDF (Carbonero XCVI x Diablotina SAN) and 11-year-old Lusitano Sport Horse gelding, “Amadeus De Massa.”
